COVID-19 Return to play

posted 31 Dec 2020, 09:31 by Laune Rangers
2020 was a year like no other.  Covid-19 brought the world to a standstill in March, but we were able to bring back some football in July.  Of course, this presented challenges never experienced before, as the club had to bring in Covid supervisors and co-ordinators to help keep everyone safe during return to play.  The Club wishes to thank everyone that put their shoulders to the wheel to get us back on the field.  We hope that we can do the same in the near future as we hope a post-Covid world isn't too far away.

We would also like to acknowledge the grant aid that covered PPE, hand sanitizer and signage, which was provided by the COVID-19 Emergency Fund & Dept of Rural and Community Development.  This aid was crucial to help us make JP O'Sullivan Park safe to play football for the Boys & Girls in blue.
