The Mid-Kerry Senior Championship Semi Final between Beaufort & Laune Rangers took place on Saturday last with Laune Rangers booking their place in the Final. Despite a sluggish start to the game, Laune Rangers showed their experience to win 0-10 to 0-07 at the final whistle. Team: Tony Lyons, Michael O'Sullivan, Jeremy O'Callaghan, Tommy O'Callaghan, Shane McSweeney, Peter Crowley, Geoffrey Mahony, Shane Daly, Mark Healy, Colm O'Shea, Johnny Carey, Pa Sheehan, Kevin Flynn, John Sheehan, Pa Joy. Final is fixed for Sunday 24th November. The second Semi-Final between Glenbeigh/Glencar and Milltown/Castlemaine will take place on Sunday at 2:30pm in Glenbeigh.

Scór na nÓg: The Laune Rangers Qualifying Round of Scór na nÓg will be held in the Laune Rangers Clubrooms, J. P. O’Sullivan Park, on Saturday, 9th November at 8.30pm. The competitions are: Figure Dancing, Solo Singing, Instrumental Music, Ballad Group, Recitation, Quiz, Novelty Act and Set Dancing. This competition is open to any young person from the Laune Rangers area who will be under 17 on 1st January 2014. More information from (087) 1278638

The Club AGM will take place on Saturday 14th December at 8:15pm in the J.P. O'Sullivan Park Clubrooms. Motion and Nomination Papers are available from Falvey's Bar, Bunkers Bar, Mulvihill Pharmacy or from the Club Secretary, Terence Houlihan.

No Lotto draw took place on Sunday November 3rd due to the death of former Club Secretary Patsy Cronin. The draw took place on Tuesday night instead. Details next week.

Best of luck to Donnacha Walsh, Sarah Houlihan and Bernie Breen who have been nominated for their respective All-Star awards. The 2013 Football All Stars will be announced on Friday 8th November. The 2013 Ladies All-Stars will be announced on Saturday 9th November.
