Club Notes - 29/05/12

The Seniors are away to Dingle on Saturday 9th June at 7:30pm. The first round of the County Championship will take place on Saturday 16th June. Laune Rangers will play Shannon Rangers at 7:30pm. This is preceded by Milltown/Castlemaine vs East Kerry at 6pm.

The B team are home to Strand Road on Sunday 3rd June at 2:30pm in the Track.

The C-team are away to Scartaglin on Friday 1st June at 7:30pm in the next round of the Junior League.

Both U-12 girls teams played their final phase 1 game last week. Mixed fortunes again with a win for the A team but unfortunately a loss for the B team. The re-grading process took place over the weekend. The A team will play in Division 2 of the Co.League while the B team will play in Division 5. The A team will host Currow on Wednesday evening at 7:15pm in the Track while the B team will travel to Farranfore to play Firies on Friday evening at 6pm.

U-6, U-8 & U-10 BOYS:
Training for the U-6, U-8 & U-10 boys will continue on Sundays at 10am in the J.P. O'Sullivan Park. New players welcome.

U-6, U-8, U-10 & U-12 GIRLS: Training for the U-6, U-8, U-10 and U-12 girls takes place on Wednesday evenings at 6pm in the J.P. O'Sullivan Park. New players welcome.

Laune Rangers are setting up a new online fundraising game and are looking for 2 people to assist with running it. This is a good opportunity for candidates to build up their CV as tasks involves using web-based programs to update website and also creating a mobile version of the website. Programming skills are NOT required but a good understanding of IT will be an advantage. It is anticipated that 4 hours a month is required. Volunteers will gain experience in creating websites using “Wordpress” and optimising website for mobile devices. In addition they will get exposure to latest techniques in marketing, both offline and online. If interested email
