Club Notes - 10th July 2016

LOTTO: Lotto results for Sunday 10th July. There was no winner of the €4,400 jackpot. The numbers drawn were 03 – 11 – 21 – 25. The Consolation Prizes were won by the following: €100: J.J. Murphy, sold by Kerry; €50: Michael V Foley, sold by Margaret Galvin; €25: Maureen Brennan, sold at the CYMS; €25: Marie O'Shea, sold by Colette. Next week’s Jackpot will be €4,600. 

SENIORS: Our Senior team had game last weekend. Their next fixture is a home tie in the County League against Rathmore. That game is down to take place on Sunday July 17th at 2pm in JP O’Sullivan Park. Keep an eye here and on our social media channels for any changes.

SENIOR LADIES: Our Senior Ladies were defeated by Dr. Crokes in the Mary Jo Curran Competition on a scoreline of Dr. Crokes 1-12 to 1-03 Laune Rangers.

JUNIORS: Our Junior men will play Milltown/Castlemaine on Tuesday 19th July next at 7pm in Milltown in the Mid-Kerry League.

U16 BOYS: The U16 boys will play Legion on Wednesday 13th July at 7pm in the Track.

U16 GIRLS: Our U16 girls defeated Southern Gaels in Round 6 of the County League on Thursday evening last. Final score: Laune Rangers 2-12 to 4-01 Southern Gaels.

U14 BOYS: In the Central League competition, Laune Rangers U14 Blue team are away to Cromane/Glenbeigh/Glencar on Monday 11th at 7pm in Cromane while the U14 White team are home to St. Pat’s on Monday 11th at 7pm in the Track.

U13 GIRLS: Our U13 girls will take on Legion on Tuesday evening (12th) at 7pm in Direen.

U12 BOYS: Laune Rangers under 12 boys began their Mid-Kerry competition on Friday evening fielding 4 teams. The Blue Team defeated Beaufort A on a score line of 5-12 to 3-09. The White Team were defeated by Milltown A 4-10 to 1-13. The Green Team defeated Glenbeigh B 5-21 to 5-10. The Red Team lost to Milltown B 3-10 to 0-08.

U6 & U8: Laune Rangers hosted a blitz for our neighbouring clubs on Sunday morning last. Despite the bad weather, a good morning of football was enjoyed by all.

CÚL CAMP: The Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Camp takes place this week in the Track from Monday 11th – Friday 15th July. The Cúl Camp runs from 10am until 2:30pm daily. We wish all our players an enjoyable and fun-filled week.

KERRY LADIES: Kerry took on Cork on Sunday evening last in the Munster Senior Championship Final. The Rebels regained their title on a scoreline of 2-08 to 0-07. Commiserations to Edel Murphy and her Kerry colleagues.

QUARTER FINAL TICKETS: Orders for tickets for the All-Ireland Quarter Final are to be with secretary, Lisa Brennan, by 5pm on Wednesday 20th July.
