Familiar rivalries will be restored on Easter Sunday as Laune Rangers travel to play Milltown/Castlemaine in Round One of the Intermediate Championship.

LOTTO: Lotto Results for Sunday 9th April. There was no winner of the €12,200 jackpot. The numbers drawn were 06 – 25 – 28 – 31. The Consolation Prizes were won by the following: € Joe Costello; €50 Karen Quinn - sold by Kerry; €25 Ted Kennedy - sold by Kerry; €25 John Harrington - sold by Kerry. SENIOR MEN: Laune Rangers picked up their first win of the County Senior Football League season with an excellent away defeat of St Michael’s/Foilmore on Saturday evening. Full Time Score:- St Michael’s/Foilmore 0-11, Laune Rangers 1-11. Read the full Match Report here

SENIOR FIXTURE: All roads lead to Milltown on Easter Sunday, as Laune Rangers face Milltown/Castlemaine in a local derby in Round One of the County Intermediate Football Championship. Throw in at Paddy Burke Memorial Park takes place at 2:30pm. All support for our Senior Teams would be most appreciate in what will be one of the most important games of the season.

SENIOR LADIES: Laune Rangers Senior Ladies face Currow on Good Friday, April 14th at 7pm in Cloon pitch.

UNDER 16 BOYS: Laune Rangers Under 16s picked up their third consecutive win in the Central Region League Division One with a defeat of Na Gaeil on Monday evening. Full Time Score:- Laune Rangers 5-16, Na Gaeil 0-7. Read the full Match Report here

UNDER 16 BOYS FIXTURE: The Under 16 Boys face Churchill in the final Round of the Central League Division One. The game takes place on Easter Monday, April 17th at 7pm in JP O’Sullivan Park, Killorglin.

UNDER 14 BOYS: Laune Rangers Under 14 Blue Team recorded their second win in the County League Division One with an away defeat of Glenflesk on Wednesday evening last, while our White Team had a bye week. Final Score:- Glenflesk 2-10, Laune Rangers 5-13. Read the Match Report here

UNDER 14 BOYS FIXTURE: The Under 14 Boys travel to Dr Crokes this Wednesday, April 12th for games in County League Divisions One & Nine. Throw in 7pm in Lewis Road.

UNDER 14 GIRLS: Our Under 14 Girls face Spa on Tuesday evening at 7pm in Cloon. 

UNDER 12 GIRLS: The Under 12 Girls got their season underway on Friday evening last with a County League fixture against Cromane. They were defeated by 3-10 to 2-7 but put in a good performance for their first game of the season. They also face Southern Gaels B in JP O'Sullivan Park on Tuesday evening at 7pm.

CONGRATULATIONS: Well done to Kerry on winning the National Football League title, beating Dublin by 0-20 to 1-16. Special congrats of course go to our own Peter Crowley, who had served as team captain for much of the campaign and put in a huge shift in the Final. Laune Rangers also congratulate Colm Cooper, who brought the curtain down on one of the great inter-county careers this week.

GUMSHIELDS: We remind all players and parents that gumshields are a compulsory piece of equipment to play Gaelic football. Gumshields are available in Killorglin through Philip O’Connor in ‘Place of Clothing’ in the Square.
