LOTTO: Lotto Results for Saturday 7th January 2018. There was no winner of the €20,000 jackpot. The numbers drawn were 13 – 20 – 26 – 32. The Consolation Prizes were won by the following: €100 Margaret Lucey - sold by Foley's Spar; €50 Liz Reynolds - sold by Margaret Browne; €25 Marian Breen - sold by Margaret Browne; €25 Kevin Harman - sold by Falveys. Next week’s Lotto Jackpot will be €20,000. Our Lotto jackpot can not be greater that €20,000 as per the club’s lotto licence. Each week that the lotto is not won, €200 will be added instead to the next lotto starting jackpot after the €20,000 jackpot is won. Therefore, once the €20,000 Jackpot is won, the new jackpot will not drop to €2,000, but will have an additional €200 in the new jackpot for all the weeks the €20,000 was not won.  Tickets available throughout Killorglin, or can be bought ONLINE NOW!!

AGM: The Annual General Meeting of Laune Rangers GAA Club takes place next Saturday, January 13th at our clubrooms in JP O’Sullivan Park at 7:30pm. All members are encouraged to attend. There is still time to make any nominations/motions which has a deadline of Tuesday next, January 9th. Club Secretary Lisa Brennan and Registrar Declan Falvey are not seeking re-election. However, nominations can be made for any position apart from Child Protection Officer, who by law must be appointed by the club. Once completed and signed, nomination/motion forms can be returned FAO Lisa Brennan to Falveys or Bunkers Bars.

LADIES: Laune Rangers Ladies are on the lookout for anyone that would like to get involved in training teams or at administrative level for 2018. With growing numbers at Under 6, Under 8 and Under 8 level, there is always a need for coaches at this level. If interested, contact or

RETIREMENTS: Two of Laune Rangers’ longest serving players – Tony Lyons & Maurice Foley – have called time on their on-field service to the club before the 2018 season gets underway. Both players played their final game for the club in the O'Sullivan Cup Final win on November 5th, 2017, with Maurice as captain. Laune Rangers GAA sincerely thank both Tony and Maurice for their service, & wish them both the very best in their retirement from the field. We hope that we see them return in a coaching capacity in the not too distant future!

REFEREES WANTED: Laune Rangers are currently looking to recruit referees to represent the club. New referees will be trained up and begin their whistle-holding career at Under 12 level in local competition.
