The Laune Rangers Under 12 Teams who were in action on Thursday evening.  The Mid Kerry Div 2 decider was preceded by a bagpipe-led parade!

LOTTO: Lotto Results for Sunday 6th August. There was no winner of the €15,600 jackpot. The numbers drawn were 10 – 13 – 29 – 32. The Consolation Prizes were won by the following: €100 Anne Foley - sold by Joan O'Shea; €50 Breda O'Sullivan - sold by Brian O'Shea; €25 DD Sullivan - sold by O'Grady's Bar; €25 ___ - sold by Pa Foley (name illegible on ticket). To coincide with our local festival, next week’s jackpot will be the nice round figure €16,000.  Tickets are available throughout Killorglin, at our stall at Puck Fair, or online now!

HEIFER OR CRUISE: Laune Rangers ‘Heifer or Cruise’ Draw will take place again on the last day of Puck – 12th August 2017. Tickets are still available for this draw at €5 each or three for €10 and can be bought from various outlets in Killorglin or ONLINE HERE . Parents, coaches and players with tickets in their possession are asked to return all money and tickets – both sold and unsold – to our stall at Upper Bridge Street during Puck Fair. We would appreciate any help for a couple of hours at our stall at any point of the festival – contact Lisa on 087-9788003 if able to assist.

MINOR: Laune Rangers get their Central Region Division One campaign underway on Monday evening with a home game versus Kerins O’Rahillys. Throw in 7pm in JP O’Sullivan Park.

UNDER 16 BOYS: Laune Rangers Under 16s were defeated by Austin Stacks on Wednesday evening in the County League Division One in Connelly Park. Full Time Score:- Austin Stacks 4-9, Laune Rangers 3-8.

UNDER 15 GIRLS: Laune Rangers Girls host Dr Crokes in the County Under 15 Championship on Tuesday, August 8th. Throw in 7pm in JP O’Sullivan Park.

UNDER 14 BOYS: Having beaten Ballymacelligott in the semi-final last week, Laune Rangers face Ardfert in the Central Region Under 14 Division One Final on Monday evening. Throw in 7pm in Austin Stack Park, Tralee.

UNDER 12 BOYS: Laune Rangers closed out the Mid Kerry Under 12 Competition as champions of both Division 1 and Division 2 following Thursday evening’s final round. The Division One side defeated Glenbeigh/Glencar to win the competition with a 100% record. The Division Two final game saw both Laune Rangers teams face each other in a winner-take-all encounter. The Blue side defeated the White side after a cracking game to take the title, with the White side finishing as runners up of the Division after defeating the other four sides.  Many thanks to Anna Doyle and Frances Quinn from Killorglin & District Pipe Band who led the Division Two teams out before the big game.

KERRY: Congratulations to the Kerry Minors who defeated Louth in the All Ireland Quarter Final on Saturday. Well done to Laune Rangers’ Fiachra Clifford who started on the team and played very well, scoring two points and assisting in a number of others. Well done also to Padraig Murphy, who serves as part of Peter Keane’s coaching ticket. Also, congratulations to the Kerry Juniors who won a third consecutive All Ireland title on Saturday, especially our neighbours – Glenbeigh/Glencar’s Pa Kilkenny & Beaufort’s Liam Carey.

GOOD LUCK: Best of Luck to the Kerry team that face Roscommon in the All Ireland Under 17 Championship Semi Final in Cusack Park, Ennis on Saturday next. Good Luck especially to Laune Rangers’ own Dáire Cleary and Daragh O’Connor. The match throws in at 2pm on Saturday.

PUCK FAIR: Laune Rangers would like to wish everyone in Killorglin a happy and safe Puck Fair, and safe travels to all travelling home for the festivities.
