LOTTO: Lotto results for Sunday 6th November. There was no winner of the €7,800 jackpot. The numbers drawn were 07 – 09 – 25 – 27. The Consolation Prizes were won by the following: €100 Chris Houlihan - sold by Colette; €50 Jiggy - sold by Colette; €25 Imelda O'Sullivan - sold by Colette; €25 Elma Houlihan - sold by Margaret Browne. Next week’s jackpot will be €8,000.

SENIOR: Laune Rangers were defeated by Glenbeigh/Glencar in the Mid Kerry Championship on Sunday. Full Time score:- Glenbeigh/Glencar 1-9, Laune Rangers 0-7. The loss brings the 2016 season to a close for Laune Rangers Senior Team. Read the full match Report here

MINOR: Laune Rangers face Keel/Listry in the Mid Kerry Minor Championship Semi Final on Saturday next, November 12th at 2:30pm in JP O’Sullivan Park.

UNDER 16: Laune Rangers defeated Beaufort in the Mid Kerry Under 16 Competition on Sunday morning. Read more here

SCOR: We wish the best of luck to the young people who will be representing Laune Rangers in this year’s Scór na nÓg County Final which will be held in the CYMS on Friday 11th November. Solo Singing: Claire Fealey; Instrumental Music Group: Niamh Doyle, Milly Foley, Orlaith O’Sullivan, Stephen O’Sullivan, Claire Fealey; Quiz Team: Ronan O’Shea, Óisin Daly, Hugh Fitzpatrick, Cillian Buckley.

KERRY GAA GALA: Kerry County Committee, in association with Team Sponsors, Kerry Group, will honour our Senior Football All Ireland winning teams 1997 to 2014 at a Gala Dinner/Celebration to be held in the INEC Killarney on Saturday 19th November next. What promises to be a great night of celebration will recognize all of the All Ireland Senior Medal winners since 1997. This includes a Laune Rangers contingent of Billy O’Shea (1997), Liam Hassett (1997, 2000, 2004), Mike Hassett (2000), Mike Frank Russell (1997, 2000, 2004, 2006, 2007), John Sheehan (2004) and Peter Crowley (2014) The Players and Team Management from all seven teams will be the special guests of honour at this black tie event. In all, 84 players will be honoured as well as 25 members from the various management teams. The celebration will also feature the launch of a specially commissioned DVD featuring the great players and personalities from this era, their stories and highlights from those wonderful games. All proceeds from the night will go towards the development of the Kerry GAA Centre of Excellence at Currans. It promises to be a night to be remembered as rarely has there been such a coming together of All Ireland medal holders even in a county such as Kerry where such items are common currency. GIRLS END OF SEASON: Laune Rangers Ladies Coiste na nÓg held their end of season medal presentation for the Under 6s, U8 and U10s on Sunday evening. The Under 12 Girls also received their East Kerry winning medals on the night. Well done to all of our Ladies players this year and we look forward to seeing you all back again for 2017.

ANNUAL RACE NIGHT: Laune Rangers Annual Video Race Night takes place on Wednesday, December 28th at Bunkers Bar, Killorglin. Laune Rangers are now selling Horses for the night at €90 each, and with an Owner, Trainer & Jockey to be nominated, it is ideal for a three person syndicate! Horses can be purchased through members of the executive, Bunkers Bar, Falveys Bar or online here

LADIES AGM: Laune Rangers Ladies AGM takes place on Thursday, November 24th at 8pm in the clubrooms at JP O’Sullivan Park. There are a number of outgoing officer that are not seeking re-election, so a number of positions are being vacated. Like with the rest of the club, new people are always welcome.
