LOTTO: Lotto Results for Sunday 30th July. There was no winner of the €15,400 jackpot. The numbers drawn were 10 – 19 – 21 – 30. The Consolation Prizes were won by the following: €100 Greta - sold by John Foley; €50 Breda O'Sullivan - sold by Brian O'Shea; €25 Mary Clifford - sold by Pat Foley; €25 Padraig Murphy - sold by Kerry. Next week’s jackpot will be €15,600.

MID KERRY: Commiserations to the Mid Kerry squad that were defeated by Kenmare District in the County U21 Final on Wednesday evening last, especially team captain John Tyther, Aidan Cox, David Costelloe, Daniel Macbeth, Neil O’Brien & Pierce Tyther. Best wishes to Aidan Cox who suffered a knee injury during the game.

HEIFER OR CRUISE: Laune Rangers ‘Heifer or Cruise’ Draw will take place again on the last day of Puck – 12th August 2017. Tickets are now available for this draw at €5 each or three for €10 and can be bought from various outlets in Killorglin or online at www.klubfunder.com/Clubs/Laune_Rangers 

HELPERS NEEDED: Laune Rangers will be selling our Heifer or Cruise Tickets during Puck Fair. We are looking for helpers to donate a couple of hours of their time to our stall at any point over the three days. JUNIOR MEN: Laune Rangers defeated Keel in the Mid Kerry Junior League on Tuesday, July 25th. Final Score:- Keel 0-5, Laune Rangers 1-13. They face Milltown/Castlemaine at home on Tuesday evening next at 7pm.

MINOR: Laune Rangers get their Central Region Division One campaign underway on Thursday evening with a trip to Dingle at 7pm

UNDER 16 BOYS: Laune Rangers Under 16s faced Kenmare on Tuesday evening in the County League Division One in JP O’Sullivan Park. Full Time Score:- Laune Rangers 5-14, Kenmare 4-8.  Read more here

UNDER 16 BOYS FIXTURE: Laune Rangers travel to Connelly Park, Tralee on Wednesday evening to face Austin Stacks in the final round of the County Under 16 League. Throw in 7pm.

UNDER 14 BOYS: Laune Rangers host Ballymacelligott in the Central Region Under 14 Division One Semi Final on Monday evening at 7pm

UNDER 13 GIRLS: The Laune Rangers Girls face Fossa in a County U13 Final on Tuesday evening in Beaufort. Throw in 5:30pm.

UNDER 12 BOYS: The Mid Kerry Under 12 Competition is up and running. Laune Rangers will have three teams competing in this year’s competition – one in the Division 1 competition, and two in the Division Two competition. On Friday evening last, All three teams were home in JP O’Sullivan Park and all three teams won with good performances – the Division 1 & Division 2 White Teams against Milltown/Castlemaine, & the Division 2 Blue Team against Cromane. The Final round sees the Division 1 team host Glenbeigh/Glencar, while the two Division 2 teams face off against each other in JP O’Sullivan Park. The Final Round looks likely to be played on Thursday evening, Aug 3rd, but that has not yet been confirmed. Check Laune Rangers Social Media for confirmation.

KERRY: Well done to Kerry who defeated Galway in the All Ireland Senior Football Quarter Final on Sunday, especially our own Peter Crowley and roghnoir Liam Hassett. Best of Luck to the Kerry Minors in their All Ireland Quarter Final versus Louth in Portlaoise on Saturday, especially Laune Rangers Fiachra Clifford as well as Padraig Murphy, who forms part of Peter Keane’s coaching ticket. Best of Luck also to the Kerry Junior team who play Meath in the All Ireland Final in Portlaoise on Saturday – a squad that includes Pa Kilkenny from Glenbeigh/Glencar & Beaufort’s Liam Carey.
