O’Grady put Glenbeigh/Glencar ahead with a pointed free in the opening minutes of the second half, before Shane McSweeney and Pa Joy points put Rangers ahead for the first time after 40 mins. Two more Glenbeigh points put the hosts ahead again before McSweeney again levelled it up, 0-9 to 1-6 with 10 minutes to go. That unfortunately proved to be our last score, and one more Glenbeigh/Glencar point was enough to win the match and take both league points on a final score of Glenbeigh/Glencar 0-10, Laune Rangers 1-6.
