The Consolation Prizes were won by the following: €100 Francie Griffin - sold by Eamon Sheahan; €50 Eamon Sheahan - sold by Eamon Sheahan; €25 Fitzgerald Family - sold by Bunkers; €25 Margot Lawlor - sold by O'Grady's Bar. Next week’s Lotto Jackpot will be €13,400

JUBILEE RACE NIGHT: A hugely enjoyable 25th Laune Rangers Race night took place on Friday night last in Bunkers Bar. Many thanks to all who attended and had a flutter with our Tote – there was a great crowd and provided for a great atmosphere. We also especially thank all the sponsors of horses and adverts in our Racecard. The continued local support very much appreciated.

YOUR CLUB NEEDS YOU: The position of Secretary of Laune Rangers GAA Club is currently vacant and this will have to be addressed in the immediate future. If it cannot be filled, an EGM will have to be called to address the issue. If you are interested in the position, or would like to nominate someone for the role, contact or any committee member.

GET INVOLVED: This year has barely come to a close, but planning starts immediately for 2019. If any member is interested in getting involved in the club, the door is always open for new volunteers in all aspects of the Club – coaching, fundraising, helping out on big match days in selling Club Lotto or operating the Scoreboard! Of course, the club is always looking for budding photographers and/or journalists that want to gain some experience in the field. Contact or make it known to any member of the executive if interested.

REFEREES: Are you interested in becoming a referee? Think you can do better? Then “Put your whistle where your mouth is” and become a GAA Referee! Referee courses will be provided. Contact if interested

HAPPY NEW YEAR: Finally, Laune Rangers GAA Club would like to wish all of our members and their families a very Happy New Year and we look forward to seeing everyone cheering on the Boys and Girls in Blue at JP O’Sullivan Park & Cloon in 2019.
