Best of Luck to Ian Costelloe who will represent Ireland at the 2016 Paralympics in Rio De Janiero.  Best of Luck Ian

LOTTO: Lotto results for Monday 29th August. There was no winner of the €5,800 jackpot. The numbers drawn were 06 15 – 21 – 29. The Consolation Prizes were won by the following: €100 Ava Galvin & Donal Sweeney, sold by O'Grady's Bar; €50 Joseph Brennan sold by Mulvihills; €25 Tara Fleming, sold by O'Grady's Bar; €25 Helen Horgan, sold by Kerry. Next week’s Jackpot will be €6,000.

SENIOR FIXTURE: The Final Round of fixtures in the County Senior Football League takes place next Sunday, September 4th. Laune Rangers host Glenflesk at 2pm in JP O’Sullivan Park. With a number of results needed to go our way to stay afloat in Division Two, relegation looks likely but all support would be most appreciated for this game.

JUNIOR: Laune Rangers ‘B’ Team will contest the County McElligott cup Final following last Thursday’s Semi Final win against St Pats in Blennerville. Final score: St Pats 2-11, Laune Rangers 0-19.  Read the Match Report here

UNDER 16: Laune Rangers will contest the County Under 16 Division One Final in a couple of weeks. They will face the winner of Austin Stacks & Cordal/Scartaglin who face off this Wednesday night in the other Semi Final. The details of the Final have not yet been confirmed.

UNDER 12: Our Under 12 Blue team completed the Mid Kerry campaign unbeaten in a great game against Glenbeigh/Glencar on a score line of 5-22 to 3-15. On Monday last, we had 3 teams playing in Central League at home to Ballymacelligott and away to An Ghaeltacht – no results at time of submission.

KERRY: Commiserations to the Kerry Senior Team who were so unlucky in defeat against Dublin on Sunday. However, we congratulate the Minors on their comprehensive win against Kildare and their search for an amazing three All Ireland Minor titles is still alive.

PRIDE OF THE PARISH: Best of Luck to Laune Rangers Junior player Ian Costelloe who has travelled with Team Ireland to Rio De Janiero to compete in Sailing in the Paralympic Games 2016. We’re sure you’ll do us proud Ian!
