Club News 28/6/20

posted 28 Jun 2020, 10:40 by Laune Rangers
A few weeks ago, scenes like this may have seen a long way away, but we are almost back! We urge everyone to continue practising all social distancing and hygiene guidelines to keep our players' boots on the grass!!

RETURN TO PLAY: It has been a long 16 weeks since a ball was last kicked in our club. Thanks to all the coaches who kept their players busy with drills, and of course thanks to the parents who kept the ball in the hands of our young players while everyone was locked down at home. Now that we are returning to play, there is some homework to be done! For details of what is needed before underage players can return to training, clickhere .

MEMBERSHIP: Club membership can be paid online by clicking HERE

E-LEARNING MODULE: To complete the e-learning module for Covid awareness, click HERE

HEALTH QUESTIONNAIRE: To create a profile and complete the GAA Health Questionnaire, CLICK HERE. It will be a requirement to log in and re-submit the health status of the player before each training session and/or game.

LOTTO: Our weekly Lotto is returning, and our first draw will coincide with the final phase of reopening on July 20th. Tickets are available to purchase now from tomorrow in the outlets that have reopened & our usual sellers. Alternatively, tickets can be bought ONLINE HERE. We will also be doing a special draw for all those who had continued paying standing orders throughout the last three months – a much needed revenue stream during this period

ICE CREAM CHALLENGE: The final piece of news is not Covid related. As you may have seen on our social media, Laune Rangers launched a Charity Fundraiser a couple of weeks ago – the #IceCreamChallenge. We encourage all of our players, parents, supporters etc to take on the challenge, posting it on Social Media and nominate three friends to do the same. The wider the net we cast, the more fruitful the return! Of course, important aspect to the Ice Cream Challenge is the donation to Charity. We have three very deserving charities in place:-

· Down Syndrome Ireland

· Irish Pilgrimage Trust

· St Francis Special School, Beaufort

Please help us make the most of our challenge, and take part. EAT – POST – DONATE – NOMINATE!!!
