Munster Final Day: Peter Crowley blocks down Niall Coakley in the Senior Final (sportsfile); Fiachra Clifford gains posession in the Minor Final (sportsfile); Aoife Cleary & Orla O'Brien with their Kerry teammates before the Primary Game.

LOTTO: Lotto Results for Sunday 2nd July. There was no winner of the €14,600 jackpot. The numbers drawn were 02 – 04 – 24 – 32. The Consolation Prizes were won by the following: €100 Ann T Moriarty; €50 Kathleen Caulfield; €25 Mary Conway - sold by Kerry; €25 Margaret Kelly. Next week’s jackpot will be €14,800. HEIFER OR CRUISE: Laune Rangers ‘Heifer of Cruise’ Draw will take place again on the last day of Puck – 12th August 2017. Tickets are now available for this draw at €5 each or three for €10 and can be bought from various outlets in Killorglin or ONLINE NOW!!

SENIOR MEN: Laune Rangers picked up an important away win against Ballymacelligott on Saturday evening – their third County League win on the road this season. Full Time Score:- Ballymacelligott 0-12, Laune Rangers 3-9. Read the full match report here

SENIOR FIXTURE: Laune Rangers face Milltown/Castlemaine on Saturday evening in the Mid Kerry Senior League Final. The game takes place in Beaufort at 7pm

JUNIOR MEN: Laune Rangers Junior side have two games in the coming week. They will play Skellig Rangers in Portmagee on Friday evening in the County Junior League, and Beaufort away on Tuesday July 11th in the Mid Kerry Junior League. The throw in time for both games is 7:30pm.

MINOR: Laune Rangers return to the County Minor Championship in 2017 after a five year hiatus. They will play Kerins O’Rahillys in Round 1 this Tuesday evening at 7:30pm in Strand Road. All Support would be greatly appreciated.

UNDER 14 BOYS: Both Laune Rangers Under 14 Boys teams played Ballymac on Monday evening in the Central Region Competition – no result at time of submission.

UNDER 12 BOYS: The Mid Kerry Under 12 Competition gets under way on Friday evening. Laune Rangers will have three teams competing in this year’s competition – one in the Division 1 competition, and two in the Division Two competition. They host Cromane in both Divisions 1 and 2 on Friday, and the other Division Two team face Keel away. All games 7pm

MUNSTER CHAMPIONS: Well done to all three Kerry teams on picking up Munster titles last week, especially our representatives – Peter Crowley with the Seniors, Fiachra Clifford with the Minors as well as Senior Selector Liam Hassett and to Padraig Murphy, who forms part of Peter Keane’s Minor backroom team. This completes a clean sweep of Munster titles for Kerry in 2017 – Under 17, Minor, Under 21, Junior and Senior.

PRIMARY GAME: Well done Aoife Cleary & Orla O’Brien who represented Kerry in the Primary Game at Half Time during Sunday’s Munster Final.

JAMES COFFEY MEMORIAL CUP: The County Under 21 Championship will get a new trophy in 2017, with the James Coffey Memorial Cup being awarded to the winning side from this year onwards. Mid Kerry – captained by John Tyther – are looking forward to the Semi Final of the same competion having beaten An Ghaeltacht and Dingle in the early rounds. The launch of the Cup will take place in the Laune Rangers clubrooms on Friday, July 21st at 8:30pm. All members are welcome to join us at the launch.
