LOTTO: Lotto results for Sunday 26th July. There was no winner of the €2,600 jackpot. The numbers drawn were 06 – 25 – 26 – 28. The Consolation Prizes were won by the following: €100 Christine Healy, standing order; €50 Finbarr Riordan, standing order. Credit Union Vouchers €25: Eileen Clifford; Donal Murphy. Next week’s jackpot will be €2,800.

SENIOR LADIES: Our Senior Ladies took on Southern Gaels last Saturday in Caherciveen in the Quarter Final of the County Senior Championship. Full Time score: Southern Gaels 2-15, Laune Rangers 0-11.

MINOR: Laune Rangers defeated Kerins O’Rahillys in the Central Minor League Division 1 in JP O’Sullivan Park on Monday evening. Full Time score:- Laune Rangers 3-15, Kerins O’Rahillys 5-6.Read the Match Report here:

UNDER 16 BOYS: Laune Rangers hosted Annascaul/Lispole on Wednesday evening in the County Under 16 League. An end to end opening half saw the home side take a commanding lead into the break, with goals by Daragh O’Connor, Patrick Carey, Fiachra Clifford (2) and Dylan Costello as well as points by Daire Cleary (3, 1 free), Fiachra Clifford, Daragh O’Connor & Cian O’Shea (free) giving Laune Rangers a 5-6 to 1-5 lead at half time. This lead was protected in the first half by some excellent goalkeeping by Padraig Ahern who also came very close to saving the penalty for Annascaul/Lispole, while the crossbar and post also came to the aid of the Rangers. Annascaul/Lispole were awarded a penalty in the first minute of the second half, but Rangers ‘keeper Padraig Ahern reached it this time for a great save. Laune Rangers didn’t ease up in the second half, and went on to score a further two goals through Daire Cleary and Daragh O’Connor – the latter with the last kick of the game. Points from Daire Cleary (3), midfielder Patrick Carey (2), Daragh O’Connor & substitutes Ronan O’Shea and Roan Moriarty completed the scoring as the home side won by a final scoreline of: Laune Rangers 7-14, Annascaul/Lispole 2-10. Laune Rangers: Padraig Ahern, Liam Croke, Connor Murphy, Eoin Doyle, Oisin Daly, David Mangan, Darragh O’Shea, Patrick Carey (1-2), Kevin Fitzpatrick, Cian O’Shea (0-1f), Fiachra Clifford (2-1), Daragh O’Connor (2-2), Dylan Costello (1-0), Eoin Evans, Daire Cleary (1-6, 1f). UNDER 14 BOYS: Our Under 14 Boys defeated St Pats in Blennerville on Thursday last. Full Time Score: St Pats 4-13, Laune Rangers 8-10.

UNDER 12 BOYS: Two of the FOUR Under 12 teams playing in Mid Kerry Competition in 2015 played this week. The White side were defeated by Glenbeigh/Glencar, while the Blue side beat Cromane.

GOOD LUCK: Best of luck to Peter Crowley & the Kerry Senior squad and management in the All Ireland Quarter Final against Kildare on Sunday next. The very Best of Luck also to the Kerry Under 16 girls in the All Ireland Final this Wednesday evening in Bruff, especially Laune Rangers players Ciara O’Brien & Tara Breen.
