LOTTO: Lotto Results for Sunday 25th March 2018. There was no winner of the €5,200 jackpot. The numbers drawn were 14 – 24 – 27 – 29. The Consolation Prizes were won by the following: €100 Helen Horgan - sold by Kerry; €50 Bridie Mangan; €25 Mary & Brian O'Shea sold by Margaret Browne; €25 Pauline Dunlea. Next week’s Lotto Jackpot will be €5,400.

NURSERY: Our Under 6s, U8s and U10s are back! Laune Rangers nursery for U6 (born in 2012 & 2013), U8 (born in 2010 & 2011) and U10 (born 2008 & 2009) has returned. The Boys are back on Sunday mornings at 10am, while the Girls are back on Wednesday evenings at 6pm.

SENIOR: Laune Rangers made the 100 kilometre round trip to Coolard in Ballydonoghue on Sunday afternoon for Round 2 of the County Senior Football League, and it was a fruitful journey as they claimed both league points with a come from behind victory. SENIOR FIXTURE: The 1 Round of the new format of the Club Championships takes place next weekend. Laune Rangers face Waterville in the first game of the Intermediate Championship at Con Keating Park, Caherciveen on Easter Saturday, March 31st at 5:30pm

MINOR: On a cold Bank Holiday Monday in Lewis Road, Killarney, Laune Rangers fell to defeat to Dr Crokes in the County Minor League Division One. Full Time Score:- Dr Crokes 1-13, Laune Rangers 3-5. Read the full Match Report here

UNDER 16 BOYS FIXTURE: Laune Rangers Under 16 Boys get their season underway on Monday, March 26th with an away tie versus Austin Stacks in the Central Region Competition.  Throw in 6:15pm in Connolly Park.

UNDER 14 BOYS FIXTURE: Laune Rangers will again have two teams in the County Under 14 Leagues in 2018. The County League begins on Wednesday, March 28th as the Rangers Blue team host Austin Stacks in Division 1, while the White Team will have an away tie versus Killarney Legion in Division 9.

UNDER 12 BOYS: Laune Rangers will have three teams competiting in the County Under 12 Competition for 2018, which begins on Sunday, April 8th. Round 1 sees the Blue Team and Navy Team face Dr Crokes in Lewis Road in Divisions 1A & 1B, while the White team will play an away tie versus Sneem/Derrynane in Divison 10.

SCÓR NA BPAISTÍ: Well done to the dancers, musicians & singer who represented Laune Rangers in the Mid Kerry Final of Scór na bPáistí held on Friday night. Special congratulations to the Figure Dancers (Abigail O'Shea, Jacquelyn Owens, Laura Patton, Sarah Patton, Sarah Guerin, Rebecca Purcell, Saoirse O'Shea & Clodagh Hamilton) who came first and will go forward to the County Semi Final in Glenbeigh on Sunday 8th April. Congratulations too to the Music Group (Sadhbh O'Sullivan, Megan Gillespie & Emma Crowley) who came second in their competition. Míle buíochas to everyone that worked to ensure that Laune Rangers were so well represented on the Mid Kerry stage again this year.

HELPERS WANTED: Laune Rangers are looking for volunteers to help out on game days in JP O’Sullivan Park. If you have an interest in sports/action photography, or simply would be willing to operate the scoreboard for various games, contact pro.launerangers.kerry@gaa.ie

MEMBERSHIP: Laune Rangers membership for 2018 is now open. Membership can be paid to either of our registrars Larry Laide, Pat O’Shea & Selina O’Connor (Ladies Registrar). The registrars will be available at all of our Nursery training sessions once they return, and registration will be taken at our home games from the beginning of the season.

KERRY REPRESENTATIVES: Best of Luck to the Kerry Minor Ladies who face Cork in the Munster Championship in Cloughduv on Easter Monday, especially Laune Rangers Ciara O’Brien & Kayleigh McGlashan as well as Tony Lyons who forms part of Jonathan Griffin’s management team. Well done to the Kerry Under 16 Ladies who defeated Tipperary on Bank Holiday Monday, March 18th, especially Laune Rangers Claire Fealey, Rachael Evans, Fodhla Houlihan, Andrea Nolan and Orla Dunphy.

CONGRATULATIONS: Congratulations to our club Vice-Chairperson Sinéad Pigott, her partner Paul & now big brother Dara on the birth of daughter Áine on Friday.
