Preparations are underway for Féile 2016.  Our Boys and Girls teams posed for their Team photos last week.  Read more below.

LOTTO: Lotto results for Sunday 1st May. There was no winner of the €2,400 jackpot. The numbers drawn were 13 - 15 - 16 - 18. The Consolation Prizes were won by the following: €100 Marie Hayes, sold by Marie Hayes; €50 Breda O'Sullivan, sold by Pat Pigott; €25: M Foley, sold at CYMS; €25 Margaret Foley, sold by Margaret Browne. Next week’s jackpot will be €2,600.

FÉILE: Preparations have begun for Féile 2016, which takes place in South West Munster on June 24th, 25th & 26th.  Laune Rangers will host the boys of St James' GAA Club, Galway & the girls of Kilcullen, Kildare for the festival.  See our promotional video for the weekend here

SENIOR MEN: Laune Rangers Seniors are in a mid season break of sorts, as they have no fixture until the first weekend in June with a trip to Finuge in the County Senior Football League. The game is currently fixed for Sunday, June 5th at 2pm in Finuge. 

UNDER 16 BOYS: There is an old saying in sport that says “Goals win games” and this was certainly true in JP O’Sullivan Park on Monday (Apr 25th) in the Central Under 16 League Semi Final between Laune Rangers and Castleisland Desmonds.  Final score: Laune Rangers 2-8, Castleisland Desmonds 4-10.  Read the match report here.

UNDER 14 GIRLS: Congratulations to the Kerry Under 14 Girls who defeated Limerick in the Munster Semi Final on Saturday.  Final Score: Kerry 3-13, Limerick 1-6.  Special Congratulations to the Laune Rangers trio of Fodhla Houlihan, Rachael Evans and Andrea Nolan.

UNDER 12 BOYS: Laune Rangers Under 12 Boys completed phase 1 of the County League on Saturday evening last. The ‘Green’ Team defeated Ballymacelligott 5-14 to 2-12 to top their group while the Gold Team were defeated 4-7 to 0-8. All 3 teams have performed very well in their respective groups and continue to improve, showing great commitment to training. 

NURSERY FOOTBALL: The future stars of our club have returned to football. The Under 6, 8 & 10 Boys will train every Sunday morning at 10am. The U6, U8, U10 girls train every Wednesday at 6pm.
