LOTTO: Sunday 24th August: There was no winner of last week’s €4,200 jackpot. The numbers drawn were 02 – 09 – 20 – 24. The Consolation Prize winners were as follows: €100 O'Connor, Sunhill, sold by Lee Carey. € 50 Julianne Fleming, Killarney, sold by O'Grady's Bar. CU Vouchers of € 50 Kathleen McCann, sold by James Riordan & Kathleen Fitzgerald, sold by Margaret Browne. Next Week’s jackpot will be €4,400.

KERRY: Again, Best of Luck to Peter Crowley and the Kerry Team in the All Ireland Semi Final Replay on Saturday next in the Gaelic Grounds.

SENIOR ‘A’: Our A Team were not in action last weekend due to the All Ireland SFC Semifinal.

DEVELOPMENT ‘B’: Our B Team were not in action last weekend due to the All Ireland SFC Semifinal.

UNDER 21: Our U21s face Castleisland Desmonds in the U21 Club Shield on Wednesday evening at JP O’Sullivan Park. Throw in at 6:45pm.

UNDER 14: Our U14 team defeated Milltown/Castlemaine comprehensively in the Mid Kerry Championship competition on Friday evening last. Final Score: Laune Rangers 7-14, Milltown/Castlemaine 1-8. Team: Oisin Daly, Liam Croke, Sean Arthurs, Connor Murphy, Erwin Brennan(1-1), Kevin Fitzpatrick, David Mangan, Daragh O’Connor (1-2), Dylan Fitzgerald (0-1), Eoin O’Sullivan (1-0), Shane Doona (2-5), Ronan O’Shea (0-3), Gearoid Hassett (2-1), Gabriel Griffin (0-1).

UNDER 12: Our two Under 12 sides faced Austin Stacks last week. The Blue Team won on a score of 5-19 to 5-13, while the White Team won on a score of 5-8 to 2-4. STRICTLY COME DANCING: Laune Rangers have begun recruiting for this year’s Strictly Come Dancing fundraiser. We would welcome recruits who would be interesting in learning to dance, putting on a show in front of a sell-out crowd all while raising funds for our Club. The show will take place at the beginning of November, with expert training beginning in the next three weeks. If interested, contact Ger Counihan in Bunkers Bar.
