LOTTO: Lotto results for Sunday 24th May. There was no winner of the €4,000 jackpot. The numbers drawn were 07 – 14 – 17 – 29. The Consolation Prizes were won by the following: €100 Sean Mac, sold at Field; €50 Mike Cahillane, standing order. Credit Union Vouchers €25: Ann Doyle, sold by Margaret Browne; Ciara & Gerard O'Sullivan, sold at Field. Next week’s jackpot will be €4,200.

LADIES: Laune Rangers ladies had a fund raising bake sale last Monday 18th. The Club would like to thank all those who helped out and contributed.


NIGHT AT THE DOGS: Laune Rangers GAA Club is going to the Dogs!! On Friday July 10th, Laune Rangers GAA Club will host an evening at Kingdom Greyhound Stadium. The Club is currently selling tickets for the ‘Buster’ draw for the night. Each ticket enters the purchaser into a Buster draw & the winner will be decided by the result of the ‘Buster Race’. There are a limited number of tickets available for this draw, each with a unique combination of the numbers 1-6 – (1,2,3,4,5,6), (3,4,2,1,6,5) etc – and the order in which the dogs finish the Buster Race will decide the winner of the Buster Draw. Tickets for the Buster Draw cost just €10, and each ticket grants the holder entry into the stadium on the night. The first prize for the Buster Draw is €500. Buses will also be available on the night and with CHILDREN UNDER 14 GOING FREE, it promises to be a fun evening for all the family with entertainment for all ages. The Club would also welcome sponsors for races, advertisements, or even dogs for the evening. UNDER 12 BOYS: Our three Under 12 boys teams won on Sunday evening last – two in Kenmare and one in Templnoe. Thanks to all the parents who travelled South to support the teams.

UNDER 12 GIRLS: Laune Rangers U12 Girls played Beale/Ballyduff in their 1st League game in Ballyduff on Tuesday evening last. A strong cross-win made for a difficult game, but it didn’t deter the efforts of Laune Rangers who persevered to win a tight match. Full time score: Laune Rangers 3-5, Beale/Ballyduff 1-6. Team: Lucy Cahill, Siofra Foley, Aoilbhe Mangan, Grace Halliday, Isobelle Sheahan, Jade Costello, Isobel Stephens, Aoife Nash Freeman (0-1), Laura Leslie, Orla O Brien (0-1), Nathalie Sheahan (1-0), Edel Griffin, Grace Halliday, Nessa Healy (0-3), Clodagh Murphy. UNDERAGE TRAINING: Our U6, U8, & U10 training continues. The boys train on Sundays from 10am to 11:30am at JP O’Sullivan Park – contact 086 2253663 for more information. STRICTLY DVD: The DVD of our phenomenal ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ 2014 is currently being completed & is available for pre-order.
