Laune Rangers applaud All Ireland Junior Champions Glenbeigh/Glencar from the field after their Mid Kerry Senior League game on Sunday.

LOTTO: Lotto Results for Sunday 26th March. There was no winner of the €12,000 jackpot. The numbers drawn were 10 – 11 – 28 – 32. The Consolation Prizes were won by the following: €100 Ann McGillicuddy - sold Online; €50 Kieran Kelly - sold by Kerry; €25 Con Lucey - standing order; €25 Liam Burke - standing order. SENIOR FIXTURE: Laune Rangers Senior Men will not face St Michael’s/Foilmore in the County Senior Football League next weekend as the game has been postponed on the request of St Michaels/Foilmore. On Easter Sunday April 16th, they travel Paddy Burke Memorial Park to play Milltown/Castlemaine in the Intermediate Championship Round 1. Throw in takes place at 2:30pm.

SENIOR LADIES: Laune Rangers were defeated by Milltown/Listry in the Mary Jo Curran Tournament in Milltown on Sunday morning, as the young Rangers team continue in their development. Full Time score:- Milltown/Listry 1-10, Laune Rangers 1-6.

UNDER 16 BOYS: Laune Rangers defeated An Ghaeltacht on Monday, March 27th on a sunny but cold evening alongside the strand in Gallarus. Full Time Score:- An Ghaeltacht 1-10, Laune Rangers 5-10. Read the Full Match Report here

UNDER 16 BOYS FIXTURE: Laune Rangers travel to Tralee to face Na Gaeil in the Central Region League Division One this Monday evening, April 3rd. Throw in is 6:30pm in Killeen, Tralee.

UNDER 14 BOYS: Laune Rangers travelled to Connelly Park, Tralee on Wednesday evening last to face Austin Stacks in the opening Round of the County Under 14 Leagues. Both clubs are fielding two teams in the competition this year, in Divisions One and Nine. Division One Full Time Score:- Austin Stacks 1-9, Laune Rangers 4-12. UNDER 14 BOYS FIXTURE: The Under 14 Boys Blue Team travel to Glenflesk this Wednesday, April 5th for a County League Division One fixture. The White Team have a bye week.

UNDER 12 BOYS: The Under 12 Boys got their County League season underway on Sunday evening. Division 1A: Kenmare 3-13, Laune Rangers Green 3-3. Division 1B: Kenmare 3-12, Laune Rangers White 4-2. Laune Rangers Gold were not in action on the day.

NURSERY FOOTBALL: The Laune Rangers Under 6, 8 & 10 Boys and Girls return to training this week. The boys began training in glorious sunshine on Sunday morning last, March 26th at 10am and the Girls begin this Wednesday, March 29th at 6pm – both at JP O’Sullivan Park. These will be the fixed times for Nursery football for 2017. New members are always welcome, and registration will take place on both days.

GUMSHIELDS: We remind all players and parents that gumshields are a compulsory piece of equipment to play Gaelic football. Gumshields are available in Killorglin through Philip O’Connor in ‘Place of Clothing’ in the Square.

GAA GHAELTACHT SCHOLARSHIP GRANT: Laune Rangers has received one of Kerry GAA’s An Ghaeltacht scholarship grants for summer 2017. This is open to Laune Rangers members who are attending Second Level Irish college in Corca Dhuibhne this summer. If interested in applying, contact Lisa Brennan at 087 9788003.
