LOTTO: Lotto results for Sunday 23rd August. There was no winner of the €3,400 jackpot. The numbers drawn were 07 – 09 – 10 – 15. The Consolation Prizes were won by the following: €100 Shanie Siebert, standing order; €50 Helena Buckley, sold online. Credit Union Vouchers €25: Pat Cronin, sold by Margaret Browne; Marie McKenna. Next week’s jackpot is €3,600.

SENIOR A: As Kerry lined out in the All Ireland Semi Final on Sunday, our Senior side had a free weekend 


SENIOR B: Our B Team were due to face Dingle in the Molyneaux Cup last Friday evening, but as Dingle were unable to field a team, Laune Rangers received a walkover. Laune Rangers progress to the semi final of the competition.

U21: Our U21 side were due to face Templenoe in the County U21 Club Championship, but as Templenoe were unable to field a team, Laune Rangers received a walkover.

Laune Rangers have entered 2 teams into the Mid Kerry U14 Championship this year, which begins this Friday night. The Blue side host Glenbiegh/Glencar, while the White side are away to Cromane. Both games throw in at 7pm.

COMMUNITY GAMES: Huge Congratulations to the Killorglin Girls Community Games side – a team made up of Laune Rangers and Cromane players – who became All Ireland Champions last weekend. They represented Kerry to defeat Donegal in Saturdays semi final by 1-12 to 3-4 & beat Dublin in Sunday’s final by 4-3 to 3-5. 


UNDER 12 BOYS: Laune Rangers have FOUR Under 12 teams playing in Mid Kerry Competition this year, with two teams competing in both Division 1 and 2. All Four Teams played in the last week. On Wednesday night, the Division 1 White and Division 2 White sides both defeated Glenbeigh/Glencar while on Friday night, the Division One Team lost while the Division Two side defeated Milltown/Castlemaine.

ANOTHER DAY OUT IN SEPT: Congratulations to the Kerry Senior & Minor Teams and Managements who both won their respective All Ireland Semi Finals on Sunday, especially our own Peter Crowley.
