Our Under 6s, 8s & 10s finished their seasons on Sunday with the playing of the Parish League.

LOTTO: Lotto results for Sunday 23rd October. There was no winner of the €7,400 jackpot. The numbers drawn were 12 – 16 – 19 – 31. The Consolation Prizes were won by the following: €100 Martina & Eileen - sold by John Foley; €50 Edith Pacheco - sold by Margaret Galvin; €25 Chris Aherne - sold by Kerry; €25 Carmel Breen – sold at CYMS. Next week’s jackpot will be €7,600.

MINOR FINAL: Commiserations to the Mid Kerry Minor Team who were defeated by East Kerry in Sunday’s County Minor Final. Full time: East Kerry 3-16, Mid Kerry 0-9. A super display by the star-studded East Kerry side in second half saw them adding two goals in the final minutes to add gloss to the scoreboard, having led by 1-7 to 0-5 at the break. Commiserations to Mid Kerry especially our own lads, 6 of whom started with 2 more introduced from the bench. Laune Rangers players in the Mid Kerry Minor squad:- Neil O’Brien (0-1), Patrick Carey, Fiachra Clifford (0-1), Patrick Daly (0-1), Daire Cleary, Daragh O’Connor, Jamie Clifford, Cian O’Shea, Pierce Tyther, John Francis O’Grady, Kevin Fitzpatrick, and Darragh O’Sullivan.

MINOR: Laune Rangers host Milltown/Castlemaine in the Preliminary Round of the Mid Kerry Minor Championship. The game takes place on Saturday next, October 29th at 2:30pm in JP O’Sullivan Park. All support would be most appreciated

UNDER 16: Laune Rangers Under 16s begin their Mid Kerry Championship with an away tie against Keel/Listry Keel on Monday, October 31st at 3pm in Keel. All support would be most appreciated

TABLE QUIZ: Many thanks to all who attended our Table Quiz in Bunkers last Friday night which was run by Laune Rangers Ladies. We also thank all those who donated spot prizes, and Ger Counihan of Bunkers Bar, who provided all of the refreshments on the night.

NURSERY: Our Under 6s, 8s and 10s seasons came to a close on Saturday evening last with the playing of the Parish League under the floodlights of JP O’Sullivan Park. Many thanks to the coaches for their continued and dedicated work throughout the year. We also thank all of the parents for their continued support but most of all, we thank the players for all the work they put in for 2016. We look forward to seeing you all back in the Spring of 2017!
