LOTTO: Lotto results for Sunday 22nd May. There was no winner of the €3,000 jackpot. The numbers drawn were 2 – 6 – 11 – 23. The Consolation Prizes were won by the following: €100 Brendan Tyther, sold by Colette; €50 Robert Evans, standing order; €25: Shivaun Shanahan, sold at field; €25 Eileen O’Connor, sold by Pat Foley. Next week’s jackpot will be €3,200.

SENIOR MEN: Laune Rangers Seniors’ next game is an away trip to Finuge in the County Senior Football League. The game is currently fixed for Sunday, June 5th at 2pm in Finuge.

COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP: Peter Crowley, John Tyther & Daniel Macbeth (sub) all played a part in Mid Kerry’s 3-14 to 2-15 win after extra time over Dingle on Sunday. Ronan Sayers was an unused substitute in the game played at JP O’Sullivan Park.

UNDER 12 BOYS: Our three U12 Boys Teams had home fixtures in the County League on Sunday evening. The Green team defeated Glenflesk in a thrilling game in Division 1A. The White Team lost to Na Gaeil in Division 5. The Gold Team lost to Glenflesk in Division 1B.

UNDER 12 GIRLS: The Under 12 Girls have two fixtures this week in the County League. They host Listowel Emmets on Tuesday in JP O’Sullivan Park at 7pm, and they travel to Mountcoal to face Finuge/St Senans on Thursday at 7:15pm

CONGRATS!: Congratulations to Jason Browne who won the Killarney Races Lá na gClub kicking competition last Monday evening. Competitors were given 90 seconds to kick as many points off the ground from 45 metres in 90 seconds. Six clubs competed - Pa Riordan (Gneeveguilla), Donal Lyne (Legion), Brian Looney (Dr Crokes), Jason Browne (Laune Rangers), Lee O’Donoghue (Glenflesk), Jack McCarthy (Milltown/Castlemaine). Jason kicked an untouchable 7 points from 7 attempts with his nearest rivals only managing 4 successful kicks. Laune Rangers are €3,000 richer after his performance. Well done Jason!

TABLE QUIZ: Thanks to all who participated in our Table Quiz last Friday night. Many thanks to those who donated prizes, as well our hosts – Mike & Kathleen O’Shea of the Manor Inn – and Quizmaster Vincent Moriarty.

NURSERY FOOTBALL: The future stars of our club have returned to football. The Under 6, 8 & 10 Boys will train every Sunday morning at 10am. The U6, U8, U10 girls train every Wednesday at 6pm.
