LOTTO: Lotto Results for Sunday 21st May. There was no winner of the €13,400 jackpot. The numbers drawn were 14 – 20 – 21 – 30. The Consolation Prizes were won by the following: €100 Noel Conroy - sold by Pat Pigott; €50 Kathleen Keating - standing order; €25 Jack Clifford - sold by O'Gradys; €Maureen Brennan - sold at CYMS. Next week’s jackpot will be €13,600.

SENIOR MEN: Laune Rangers next Senior Fixture is an away Mid Kerry Senior League tie vs Keel on Tuesday, 30th May at 7:45pm. They then host Gneeveguilla in the County Senior Football League on the weekend of June 3rd/4th in JP O’Sullivan Park.

JUNIOR MEN: The County Junior Leagues got underway in the past week, with Laune Rangers travelling to Renard on Saturday evening. Without a number of players, Rangers started brightly but Renard had a strong finish to the half, and led by three points at the half. Eamonn Carey scored a goal for Rangers and points were added by Cian O’Shea (3, 1 free), Gavin O’Shea (2) & Darragh O’Shea in the opening period. Half Time Score:- Renard 1-9, Laune Rangers 1-6. Renard dominated the third quarter and scored seven unanswered points to lead by 1-16 to 1-6 with 15 minutes to play. In the 46th minute, Laune Rangers introduced Paudie O’Shea to see him take the field on the same team as his son Darragh for the first time. Rangers halved the deficit with points from Kieran Doona (2), Patrick Carey & Cian O’Shea before another Renard point put 6 between the sides with 5 minutes to play. Cian O’Shea marked a fine performance with a goal in the 58th minute to reduce the gap to three points, but there was to be no further score in the game as the home team held out to win. Full Time Score:- Renard 1-17, Laune Rangers 2-11. JUNIOR FIXTURE: Laune Rangers ‘B’ host Dromid Pearces in Round 2 of the Junior League on Friday, May 26th at 7:30pm in JP O’Sullivan Park.

UNDER 16 GIRLS: Commiserations to the Under 16 Girls who were defeated by Inbhear Scéine Gaeils in the County League Division Two B Final on Friday evening in Cloon.

UNDER 14 BOYS: Laune Rangers will contest both the Division One and Division Nine Finals of the County Under 14 League as the ‘Blue’ Team followed up the ‘White’ Team’s success earlier in the week with victory over Ballymacelligott in the Division One Semi Final on Friday night in JP O’Sullivan Park. Division One Full Time Score:- Laune Rangers 5-17, Ballymacelligott 3-5. Division Nine Full Time Score:- Ballymacelligott 3-9, Laune Rangers 3-10. UNDER 14 BOYS FIXTURES: The County Under 14 Leagues Division 1 & Division 9 Finals are currently scheduled for this Wednesday, May 24th, but no details are finalized at time of writing. Check local and social media for these details.

UNDER 12 BOYS: The second phase of the County Under 12 Leagues got underway on Sunday evening, In Division Nine, Laune Rangers ‘Gold’ lost away to Valentia, The ‘Green’ & ‘White’ Teams will host Ballyduff this Wednesday evening.

MID KERRY: Mid Kerry were defeated by East Kerry in the County SFC Round 2. East Kerry 4-15, Mid Kerry 1-11. The defeat knocks Mid Kerry out of the County Senior Football Championship.

REPRESENTATIVE: Well done to Dáire Cleary who played for Kerry in the Munster Under 17 Championship Final win against Cork last Tuesday. Congratulations also to squad member Daragh O’Connor and coach Padraig Murphy who forms part of Peter Keane’s management ticket. Kerry will play the Connacht champions in the All Ireland Semi Final in August.
