LADIES: Laune Rangers Senior Ladies began their season on Sunday afternoon with the visit of John Mitchels. It was, unfortunately, a tough day at the office as what was an inexperienced side fell to a comprehensive defeat. Laune Rangers team: Sarah O'Connor, Cliodhna McSweeney, Ciara O'Sullivan, Lucy Knight, Norina O'Callaghan, Meahdbh Johnston, Sarah Clifford, Sarah Jane Joy (0-1), Sarah Clifford, Roisin O' Hara, Maria Rafferty, Yvonne Sheehan, Megan Gamble, Ciara O'Brien, Muireann Arthurs(2-0). Subs (all used): Katie Halpenny, Kayleigh McGlashen, Lisa Mangan, Molly O'Donnell, Zara Ashe, Lauren Hurley, Laura Brennan, Nicki Clifford, Fiona Brennan. The Senior Ladies travel to Scartaglin on Easter Sunday at 12pm for their next game.

MINOR: Laune Rangers visit Beaufort in Round 4 of the County Minor League. The game has been fixed for Easter Saturday at 4pm in Beaufort GAA grounds.

U12 BOYS: The Under 12 Boys began their season on Sunday evening. They played two entertaining challenge games away against Fossa.

NURSERY FOOTBALL: The future stars of our club will return for 2016 in the first week in April. The Under 6, 8 & 10 Boys return on Sunday 3rd April, while U6, U8, U10 & U12 girls return on Wednesday 6th April.

STRICTLY DANCERS WANTED: Laune Rangers will again be running our very popular fundraiser ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ in late Spring. This will be the third time we run this particular event, and always proves to be highly enjoyable, especially for the participating dancers! If you would be interested in taking part in the event – learning to dance and making lifelong friends in the process – please advise Finance Chairman Ger Counihan in Bunkers, contact Secretary Lisa Brennan on 0879788003, or email PRO Aidan Clifford at pro.launerangers.kerry@gaa.ie.
