LOTTO: Lotto results for Sunday 14th August. There was no winner of the €5,400 jackpot. The numbers drawn were 06 – 13 – 17 – 27. The Consolation Prizes were won by the following: €100 Sean Sheehan, sold by Kerry; €50 Paul Coburn, sold by Pat Foley; €25 Cian Duffy, sold by Maura Corcoran; €25 Nora Murphy, sold by Kerry. Next week’s Jackpot will be €5,600.

HEIFER OR A CRUISE: Congratulations to Eoin Clifford, Caragh Lake who won our Puck Fair Draw on Friday evening. He takes away the top prize but at the time of writing, the decision on Heifer or Cruise has not been made! Congratulations also to the runner up Fergus Clifford, Killorglin who takes away €250, and 3rd place Steven Kearney collects €150.  Many thanks to everyone who entered the draw and to those who gave up their time to sell our tickets during Puck.  New volunteers to help us run our Club are always appreciated.

SENIOR FIXTURE: Laune Rangers host Listry in Round 10 of the County Senior Football League, with crucial league points up for grabs in the lower end of Division Two. The game takes place on Tuesday, August 16th at 7pm in JP O’Sullivan Park. All support would be most appreciated.

MINOR: Laune Rangers travel to Dingle on Thursday evening next in the Central Region League. Throw in at Páirc an Athasigh is 7pm.

UNDER 16: It was a busy week for the Under 16 team, as they played the final two rounds of the County League. A storming second half display by 
Laune Rangers gave the Killorglin side a convincing win over Austin Stacks in the County Under 16 League in JP O’Sullivan Park on Monday evening. Final score:- Laune Rangers 7-12, Austin Stacks 2-10. Read the Match Report here

Laune Rangers took on Cordal/Scartaglin in the final round of the County Under 16 League Division One in JP O’Sullivan Park, Killorglin on Sunday evening. Full Time Score:- Laune Rangers 2-13, Cordal/Scartaglin 1-16. Read the Match Report here

The draw left four teams – Laune Rangers, Cordal/Scartaglin, Kilgarven/Tousist, Killarney Legion – tied on 5 points with space for only three teams in the League Semi Finals. Details for these fixtures have not been announced at time of writing.

PUCK FAIR PARADE: Thanks to those who represented the club in the Puck Fair Parade on August 10th. Your input to the club is appreciated as always.

UNDER 12: Laune Rangers have four teams in Mid Kerry competition this year. Three teams played this past weekend. In Division 1, the Blue team had a bye while the White Team picked up a win against Glenbeigh/Glencar, while in Division 2, the Red team defeated Glenbeigh/Glencar, while the Green team overturned a narrow loss last week to defeat Milltown/Castlemaine.

TICKETS: Kerry will play Dublin in the All Ireland Senior Football Championship Semi Final on Sunday, August 28th in Croke Park. If any member is interested in obtaining tickets through the club, please contact Lisa Brennan 087 9788003 before 6pm on Wednesday, August 17th.
