FIXTURE: The County Senior Football League begins next weekend. Laune Rangers host An Ghaeltacht on Sunday, March 20th at 2pm in JP O’Sullivan Park. All support would be greatly appreciated.

MINOR: Laune Rangers hosted Rathmore on Saturday in Round 3 of the County Minor League. Final score: Laune Rangers 1-11, Rathmore 2-9. Read the full match report here

LADIES: Laune Rangers are looking to recruit ADULT LADIES FOOTBALLERS to play for our Senior Ladies in 2016. Laune Rangers have lost a number of Senior players this year, and will be stepping down in Division to compete in LGFA competition. New players to the sport are always welcome, as well as our former players that have not played in a while! If interested in joining our Club, and training/playing with Laune Rangers in 2016, contact Ladies Chairperson Andrew Pigott on 0872219339.  The Senior Ladies play Round 1 of the County League at home to John Mitchels on Sunday next, March 20th at 12pm in Cloon (players to be there for 11:15).  All support would be greatly appreciated.

SCÓR: Congratulations to the Laune Rangers representatives, who did so well in the Mid Kerry Scòr na bPáistï held in the CYMS on Friday night last. Figure Dancing:- 1st Laune Rangers: Abigail O'Shea, Jacquelyn Owens, Laura Patton, Sarah Patton, Sarah Guerin, Rebecca Purcell, Eabha Dolan, Shannon O'Sullivan. Music:- 2nd Laune Rangers: Emma Crowley, Jade Costello, Isabelle Sheahan, Eoghan Joy, Ciarán O'Sullivan. Many thanks to Emir Irwin O'Shea, Clodagh Irwin Owens and to Deirdre Keane for all their good work in preparing these young competitors For Friday night's competition.

PARADE: Laune Rangers Under 8s, 10s & 12s will parade in the St Patrick’s Day Parade on Thursday – meeting at the Fishery at 12:45pm.

ISK CHAMPIONS: Huge Congratulations to the Intermediate School Killorglin girls who won the All Ireland Junior B Championship on Saturday last, especially of course to the significant Laune Rangers contingent in the squad.

KERRY PLAYERS: Congratulations to Fodhla Houlihan, Andrea Nolan and Rachael Evans on making the Kerry Under 14 squad. Congratulations also to Kayleigh McGlashen and Ciara O'Brien on making the Kerry Under 16 squad. Best wishes especially to Ciara who has the additional honour of County U16 captaincy.

NURSERY FOOTBALL: The future stars of our club will return for 2016 in the first week in April. The Under 6, 8 & 10 Boys return on Sunday 3rd April, while U6, U8, U10 & U12 girls return on Wednesday 6th April.

CLUB MEETING: Laune Rangers Club Meeting takes place on Monday night, March 14th at 8pm in our clubrooms at JP O'Sullivan Park. This meeting is open for all club members to attend.

STRICTLY DANCERS WANTED: Laune Rangers will again be running our very popular fundraiser ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ in late Spring. This will be the third time we run this particular event, and always proves to be highly enjoyable, especially for the participating dancers!
