AGM: The Annual General Meeting of Laune Rangers GAA Club took place on Saturday December 10th. There were no motions to address on the night. Outgoing Chairman Declan Falvey’s address to the meeting was followed by the election of officers. The members were informed that there were a number of executive positions being vacated by outgoing officers not seeking re-election and no nomination for any position was received. Therefore, the positions of Chairman, Vice-Chairman, 1 joint-Treasurer, 2 Registrars, Insurance Officer remain unfilled. The position of Child Welfare Officer is also vacant but, due to the nature of this role, it will be filled by appointment by the executive rather than nomination. This situation must be addressed urgently and therefore, Laune Rangers Annual General Meeting will reconvene on Saturday 14th January at 7:30pm at our clubrooms in JP O’Sullivan Park. Nomination papers are available from Secretary Lisa Brennan on 087 9788003 and nominations – signed by both the proposer and nominee – must be returned to Lisa Brennan, Aunagarry, Killorglin, Co Kerry or secretary.launerangers.kerry@gaa.ie by Tuesday, January 3rd.
