LOTTO: Lotto Results for Sunday 1st October 2017. There was no winner of the €17,400 jackpot. The numbers drawn were 16 – 19 – 29 – 30. SENIOR: The Mid Kerry Senior Football Championship got underway on Saturday afternoon as Laune Rangers hosted Cromane in a Killorglin parish derby in JP O’Sullivan Park. Final Score:- Laune Rangers 1-15, Cromane 1-4.  Read the Full Match Report here 

SENIOR FIXTURE: Laune Rangers will travel to Beaufort on Sunday, October 15th for the Mid Kerry Senior Football Championship Semi Final. Throw in 2:30pm.

SENIOR LADIES: Laune Rangers hosted Milltown/Listry in the Ladies County League on Sunday afternoon. The more experienced Milltown/Listry outfit won the game by a comfortable margin against a Laune Rangers team with no player older than 17 on the field.

MINOR FIXTURE: The Mid Kerry Minor Championship gets underway next weekend. Laune Rangers face Keel/Listry in Keel on Sunday, October 8th at 2pm.

COME TO THE CÉILÍ: A great night is in store in the CYMS Hall, Killorglin on Saturday next, October 8th as Laune Rangers host a Céilí. Music will be provided by Paddy Casey and Eddie Lee who will play all the Old Time Irish classics and sets. It will run from 9:30pm to 12:30am, and light refreshments will be provided. Admission is €10 for adults , €5 for students and a donation will be made to the Irish Lifeboat Service.

KERRY U12 GIRLS: Well done to Laune Rangers’ Eabha Dolan, Sarah Leslie and Sophia Doherty who competed with Kerry in an Under 12 Development Blitz in Kilrush, Co Clare on Sunday.



SCÓR NA NÓG: It is Scór time again. The Laune Rangers Qualifying Round for this year’s Scór na nÓg will be held in the next few weeks. The competitions are Figure Dancing, Solo Singing, Instrumental Music Group, Recitation, Ballad Group, Set Dancing, Stage Drama & Quiz. Club members who will be under 17 years on 1st January 2018 are cordially invited to participate. More information from (087) 1278638. 

CONGRATS: Congratulations to Killorglin’s Aileen Crowley – sister of Laune Rangers’ Kieran and cousin of Peter – who, along with partner Aifric Keogh competed for Ireland in the World Rowing Championships in Florida this past week. They finished 2nd in their B Final – giving them a final ranking of 8th in the World.
