The Laune Rangers Senior team that faced Cromane on Sunday afternoon

LOTTO: Lotto Results for Sunday March 1st 2020. There was no winner of the €6,200 jackpot. The numbers drawn were 06 – 08 – 13 – 32. The Consolation Prizes were won by the following: €100 Doreen Tattersall - sold by Kerry; €50 Joan Courtney - sold by Margaret Browne; €25 Triona O'Connor - sold by Margaret Galvin; €25 Andy Billot. Next week’s Lotto Jackpot will be €6,400.

SENIOR: Laune Rangers will contest the Final of the Mid Kerry Senior League following a hard fought draw against Cromane in the final round-robin game on Sunday, which was played in Cromane. Full Time Score:- Cromane 1-9, Laune Rangers 1-9.  Read the full Match Report here

SENIOR FIXTURES: The County Senior Football Leagues get underway next weekend. Laune Rangers A travel to Keel in Division 3, while – after a five year hiatus – Laune Rangers B return to the County SFL with an away fixture vs Kenmare B in Division 6. Both games 2pm on Sunday, March 8th.

SENIOR LADIES: The County Senior Ladies League Round 1 fell foul of the weather conditions at the weekend, so Laune Rangers fixture against Fossa was postponed.

MINOR: Laune Rangers’ wait to get their Minor season continued at the weekend as Storm Jorge caused all of the County Minor League fixtures to be postponed. Their wait will be short though, as they take on Dr Crokes on Saturday next, March 7th. Throw in 4pm in Lewis Road, Killarney.

G4MA: Laune Rangers Gaelic for Mothers and Others group have begun their training. It continues on Monday evenings from 7pm to 8pm in JP O’Sullivan Park. Contact Selina on 087 619 6676.

KERRY: Well Done to the Kerry Seniors on their win against Mayo. Well done also to the Kerry Under 20s who defeated Limerick in the Munster Semi Final. They now play Cork on Wednesday night next in the Munster Final – Best of Luck to all, especially our own squad member David Mangan. Well Done to the Kerry Minor Ladies on their comprehensive win against Tipperary on Sunday afternoon, especially our own Rachael Evans.

MEMBERSHIP: Laune Rangers membership is now open for 2020. Our subscription for this year remains unchanged - Family €70, Adult €50, OAP €20, Scór only €20. Registrars Larry Laide and Pat O'Shea will be available at our home games early in the year, and at our Sunday morning nursery when they return in Spring. GET INVOLVED: If any member is interested in getting involved in the club, the door is always open for new volunteers in all aspects of the Club – coaching, fundraising, helping out on big match days in selling Club Lotto or operating the Scoreboard! Of course, the club is always looking for budding photographers and/or journalists that want to gain some experience in the field. Contact or make it known to any member of the executive if interested.

REFEREES: Are you interested in becoming a referee? Think you can do better? Then “Put your whistle where your mouth is” and become a GAA Referee! Referee courses will be provided. Contact if interested.

GOLF CLASSIC: Laune Rangers are running a Golf Classic on Friday, July 3rd in Dooks Golf Club.
