Glenbeigh/glencar 0-6

Laune Rangers 1-9

Glenbeigh/Glencar took on Laune Rangers in the their first Mid Kerry league game of 2012.

The game started after a minute's silence for Michael O'sullivan Glencar who died on Friday. Michael was an excellent club man and was involved with the club at all levels over the years and will be saldly missed by all involved with Glenbeigh / Glencar.

Gary Mcgrath was taking charge of the home team for the first time, but was without many of his big hitters for the match with Darran O'sullivan, Gavan O'grady, Pa Kilkenny and Raymond O'connor all unavailable. Laune Rangers too had some noticeable absentees and fielded a very young team – they still managed to go in at half-time with a two point lead, 1-5 to 0-6.

Rangers took up where they left off in the second half and dominated the the second half.
