Laune Rangers LGFA

Laune Rangers LGFA caters for the footballing needs of over 180 juvenile girls in the local community from age 5 to minors (age 18).  Our nursery programme, on Wednesday evenings for girls under ten yers of age, gives these youngsters their first introduction to the skills of the games and the ethos of the club.

A team in excess of 30 coaches are involved in the development of our players, and these volunteers are constantly up skilling themselves in all aspects of coaching children and youths. Our aim is to provide a safe, friendly, fun environment for our players and coaches whilst also striving to achieve success on and off the field.

Great work has gone into the revival of Ladies football in Laune Rangers in recent years.  Laune Rangers won the County Under 15 Championship in 2015 and nominated Ciara O’Brien as Kerry Under 16 captain in 2016, as Kerry won the All Ireland title and a great homecoming saw Ciara bring the cup across the Laune Bridge into Killorglin on open-top bus!
