Listowel Emmets: 4-12
Laune Rangers got off to a good start against a strong Listowel team and enjoyed a good deal of the first half possession. At half time Laune Rangers led 2- 8 to Listowel 2 – 3 with goals from Eoin Evans and Daire Cleary and points from Eoin O’ Sullivan, Ronan O’ Shea, David Mangan and Shane Doona. In the second half, Listowel scored 2 goals and 9 points to Laune Rangers 6 points. The game ended with a win for Listowel Emmets on a scoreline of Laune Rangers 2-14 to Listowel Emmets 4 – 12. All played well and the team has improved from when it last played Listowel Emmets away in Listowel.

Laune Rangers U 12 White Team
This game was a game of two halves. Listowel got off to a flying start, scoring 1-3 in the first 10 Minutes, Laune Rangers found it difficult to gain possession as Listowel were strong in midfield with two tall players. Laune Rangers battled away but could not get through their defence, Evan Madden and Ronan Fitzpatrick tried hard with determined play but Listowel showed great skill and led at half time 4-5 to 0-3.
The second half was a totally different game from Laune Rangers after a good team talk at half time, the lads got stuck in to Listowel, from the backs Cormac Doyle, Jack Carey, Eoin Doyle and Conor Burke, got to grips with the Listowel forwards, midfielders Barry Connor and Gearoid Hassett began to block and close down their players. Great heroic saves by goal keeper Dean Callan kept Laune Rangers in game.
Laune Rangers forwards began to dominate with Sean Cleary, Column Kelliher, Timmy O`Shea, and Jack Evans playing with great spirit. Jack Carey was moved into the forwards and scored two goals in quick succession. Jack Evans, Cormac Doyle scored great goals, great play by Gearoid Hassett and Sean Cleary set up another goal by Jack Carey, points from Gearoid Hassett, Timmy Shea and Jack Evans and determined play by Barry Connor picked off a fine point to leave the score on the whistle at a four point defeat. The team were disappointed with the defeat, but everyone on the panel played their part.
