The Seniors were Home to An Ghaeltacht in Round 6 of the County League on Saturday last. The game finished in a draw - Laune Rangers 0-11 - 1-08 An Ghaeltacht. The B-Team were Home to Kilgarvan on Sunday last in the next round of the County League. After a game that was neck and neck for a lot of the time, Kilgarvan pulled away towards the end and emerged with a two point victory. Final score: Laune Rangers 1-08 - 0-13 Kilgarvan. TEAM: Jason Browne, Brendan Aherne, Ger O'Sullivan, Rikus O'Connor, Aaron Gamble, Mark Healy, Liam Clifford, Jack O'Connor, Colm O'Shea. Sean T. Last week's game against Waterville was postponed until this Friday night, 1st July, at 8pm in Waterville.

Round 1 of the U-21 Championship took place on Wednesday night last when the lads travelled to Killarney to take on Dr. Crokes. An entertaining and close game of football saw the game level at the full time whistle and extra time was required to seperate the sides. Unfortunately the loss of Kieran Doona through injury impacted and Crokes emerged victorious on a score line of Laune Rangers 2-11 - 1-19 Dr.Crokes.

The U-16 Lee Strand County League begins tonight, Wednesday 29th. All games have a &:30pm throw in. See website for details.

U-8 & U-10:
We wish the Best of Luck to the U-8's and U-10's who are travelling to Tralee on Thursday evening, 30th June, to take on Austin Stacks.

The first round of the Championship took place last weekend and saw the Ladies play Sliabh Luachra. They served up the best opening game to any Senior Championship with a feast of free flowing and high scoring football. The new combination team of Sliabh Luachra came out on top 6-11 to 4-14 but both teams will feel happy with their outing and the back door route will now be taken by Laune Rangers.

The U-12 Girls played Dr. Crokes on Sunday evening last. It was a very tight game but late goals from Laune Rangers saw them take the points on this occassion! Final score: Laune Rangers 3-12 - 5-02 Dr. Crokes. TEAM: Alice Wainwright, Lauren Costello, Lucy Clifford, Molly O'Donnell, Naoishe Purcell, Orla Healy, Sarah Clifford, Lauren Hurley, Ciara O'Brien, Rebecca Sealy, Roisin O'Hara, Meabhdh O'Sullivan, Brenda Brennan, Ciara Fogarty, Caoimhe Hassett. SUBS: Tara Breen, Alice Joy, Sarah O'Brien, Orlaith Reynolds, Vicky Halliday, Amy Naughton, Sarah Tobin, Una McGeever, Mariah O'Dwyer, Laura Foley, Siobhan Keane. The U-8's and U-10's will take part in a sponsored walk to raise money for the Club. The walk will take place on Sunday 10th July, starting at 10am in The Track. Sponsorship cards will be given out this week. The U-12's, U-14's, U-16's and Minors will also be involved in a fundraising effort. They will have a draw for Club merchandise. Sponsorship cards also to be given out this week. We hope everyone will make a big effort to support the Club.
