Club Notes - 1/6/11

SENIORS:

The Senior Team were Away to Austin Stacks in the League on Sunday last. Austin Stacks proved too strong on this occassion and ran out winners on a score-line of Laune Rangers 0-09 - 3-11 Austin Stacks. TEAM: Tony Lyons, Cormac Johnston, Johnny Carey, Jeremy O'Callaghan, Pa Sheehan, John Sheehan, Christopher O'Riordan, Peter Crowley, Tom McGillycuddy, Maurice Foley, Kieran Doona, Shane McSweeney, Mike Frank Russell, Seamie Foley, Colin O'Dwyer. SUBS: Jerry Coffey, Morgan O'Sullivan. The Seniors will play East Kerry on Saturday 11th June in the County Championship. This game is fixed for 5:45pm in Beaufort.

B-TEAM:
The B-Team were Away to Renard in the final fixture of Phase 1 on Saturday last. The teams were re-grouped on Monday morning last. Laune Rangers B are now grouped with Dingles, Kilgarvan, Kilcummin B, Strand Road and Asdee. The opening round of Phase 2 takes place this weekend with Laune Rangers Away to Dingle. This game will take place on Sunday 5th June at 7:30pm.

C-TEAM:
The C-Team were Home to Fossa on Friday evening last in the next round of the Junior League. They emerged with a good victory, finishing on a score of Laune Rangers 1-13 - 2-06 Fossa. This week sees the C's Home to Templenoe B on Friday evening, 3rd June, at 7:30pm.

U-6, 8 & 10 BOYS:
Training takes place on Sunday mornings at 10am in the J.P.O'Sullivan Park. New players welcome.

GAELIC-4-MOTHERS:
Gaelic4Mothers is an initiative set up by the Ladies GAA for mothers who have played before or who have never played but would like to learn. It's an opportunity for those involved to meet other mothers, keep fit and to have a laugh! Laune Rangers Ladies started Gaelic4Mothers on Tues 24th May and it will last for 6 weeks. If you are interested in partaking, why not come along to Cloon on Tuesday night at 7pm.

U-12 GIRLS:
Re-grading of the U-12 Girls took place last week. We will remain in Division 4 for the remainder of the League. we have been grouped with Currow, Na Gaeil, Rahillys and Dr. Crokes. The u-12 Girls will play Away to Currow this week.

U-10 & U-12 GIRLS:
Training takes place on Wednesday evenings at 6pm in the J.P.O'Sullivan Park. New players always welcome.

LOTTO:
Results of Lotto draw on Sunday 29th May. The Numbers drawn: 4, 9, 20, 23. There was no winner of the E2,600 Jackpot.
